This pet is the reward for a new quest chain in Grizzly Hills (Patch 9.0). To begin the chain, head to an iceberg on the coast of Grizzly Hills (coordinates: 18.4 88.2). A Glimmerfin Scout NPC will spawn, run away, and leave behind a breadcrumb on the ground to begin. Sometimes the quest won't spawn the first time, however the NPC has a short repsawn time (~5 minutes), so wait around until the quest marker appears.

Glimr is the reward for the final quest in the chain. Check out Wowhead's walk-through.

Some parts of the quest chain were easy, some were not. I died many times attempting to get this pet. Lack of oxygen, fatigue,and attempting to kill the Great Mua'Kin. SMH.

Easy to get and great for battle. I used him in my 3x humanoid team. Egg Barrage gives a nice baseheal when he is swapped out.

Gorgeous  pet with an awesome moveset which makes him very powerful tool in many teams ;). Human/aquatic power move to melt down dragons & elementals, then either Egg Barrage (combined with Ray of Hope) for backheal and/or Decoy's breaker or Lucky Dance for team's buff, finally mentioned Ray of Hope for team heal or Whirlpool for dps/cc purposes ;). He was the missing link in so many teams which can be now filled properly!!!

Its a unqiue model and the quests were super easy. Only took around 20-30 mins to complete with underwater mount!

I used the aftifact rod to swim around.  Very easy and short quest line for once!

Approximately 30 minutes of questing.  Underwater mount is a big help.  Druid travel form works really well.
