Undermoths are known to be some of the most intelligent moths on Azeroth. This is not saying much.
Maddening Deeps back line pet for the oozes in the area (needs to get the buff to be able to see the oozes). I've managed to find a rare B/B as backline from an ooze (went there for farm for oozes and got myself lucky).
Caught one today in Azj-Kahet Maddening Deeps as backline pet to a Shadowy Oozeling. It was a grey BB, so blue aren't guaranteed. Whether it was nerfed or I was just unlucky, I can't say--it's the only one I've seen so far.
Fought it as a main pet and twice as a back up pet around the Silken Ward, Rak Ush, and Wild Camp Ul'ar areas. As noted in other posts, it's always been blue and B/B. Back up pet to Vibrant Glowfly and to Verdant Scootiefish
I caught one around Rak-Ahat, but right below the Widow's platform there was an Azure Flickerfly with two Undermoths as backline. All three Undermoths have been blue and B/B.
Found it as a backline pet in Azj-Kahet at 74.18, 82.15. It doesn't appear to be on the safari list for wild pets. Also as a back line pet to Vibrant Glowly at 74.95, 78.46 (Azj-Kahet).
