I just want to remind people that if you find a rare with the corpse exploding ability, you can leave the fight and re-initiate and they can have a different load out.  I've seen this said on other pets, so I tried it and got my rare without explosion second try.  Good Luck!

Found one in the Maw at 47.69, 72.66 that managed not to blow itself up. It was a frontline pet with a rare one on the backline and neither of them had the blowthemselves up ability open. Thankfully.

I found a poor version in Maw eye of Oblivion area 40.06, 60.72 who exploded when I was trying to cage him. Later came across a rare one in same area that I successfully caged. Not all are equiped with the explode trait.

I found this as a frontline pet. He did something that made himself die on the first turn. Will update if I can discern more.
