While their tiny tusks may not help much in a fight, the trunkalumpfs make up for it in sheer weight.
Reliable spawn points in the Ohn'ahran Plains include: (78.86, 35.33), (76.65, 27.30) (in the cave - can be hard to target), and (80, 27). Primary pet only, apparently.

From the game database: the tan with green hair is very rare, occurring on average 1% of the time. The dark one occurs on average 39% of the time, and the pale with blue-grey hair the remaining 60%. Unfortunately, I'm not aware of any places where this pet can appear as a secondary in battle (but happy to be corrected on that!), which means you'll have to get lucky and catch your green-haired baby mammoth as a primary.
I captured a white version with lightblue hair.

Found mine as a main 55, 66. In a small cave.
There is one inside a tiny cave in Ohn'ero Plains at 76 27. Â There was a non battle version that I killed and the battle one spawned qui after.
I did find this as a primary pet at approximately 78.91,35.44. Unfortunately, I killed it trying to capture it.
Can be a main pet, not always an added. Got one at 55 65 in Ohn'ahran Plains
