Appears in two colour variants, Tan and bright Yellow. Tan appears 90% of the time, Yellow is a 10% chance. As the pet can rarely be a secondary, best advice is the classic get the rarity you want to be a secondary, then keep restarting the battle until it appears in Yellow.
This pet is identical to Bloodthorn Hatchling, Mossbite Skitterer, and Icespine Hatchling. All 4 pets have identical movesets and come in the same 4 breeds with identical stats. The only difference between them is the appearace. With this in mind, you could choose all 4 breeds with each pet having a different breed. Even the S/B breed is slow at 289 and Puncture Wound has no bonus unless paired with a pet that uses poison and Takedown has no bonus unless the enemy stuns itself.
Been trying to find a the P/B breed but it's proving difficult, also suffers from the "visible enemy breed is not the catch breed" issue as some other pets have.
