We've added these new pets to our database, however their pet pages are still a work in progress, thank you for your understanding and patience.
Dragonflight Battle Pets
Pre-orders for the upcoming expansion are now available, and there's not one but two possible battle pet rewards! [source]
The first pet is Drakks (pictured above, left), a little drakonid. This pet will respond to a number of player emotes, and even comes with its own little bird mount (pictured right).
The second pet is Murkastrasza (pictured above, right). Although technically a murloc, she's still a Dragonkin at heart (watch out for her little flame breath).
Murkastrasza is the gift for purchasing the Dragonflight Heroic Edition (in addition to Drakks if pre-ordered).
New Store Pet
With the new expansion just around the corner (release date TBA), we'll be leaving Shadowlands Soon™.
There are many battle pets to collect to help remind players of their journey through the realm of the afterlife. But if you're looking for one that has especially unique ties to Shadowlands, check out the latest addition to the Blizzard Store.
Players can now adopt Lil' Ursoc (pictured right) from the Blizzard Store as a small reminder of what was lost (and gained) during their adventures through Shadowlands.

For individuals or families with multiple WoW accounts under the same Battle.net logon, each account needs to buy Dragonflight. But only one needs the pricier Heroic Edition for the Dragon mount and Murkastrasza pet. Those are usable account-wide for everyone under same Battle.net account.
@Legion - Moused is correct. You'll get both Drakks and Murkastrasza with a Dragonflight Heroic Edition pre-order. Updated the post to clarify that you get both pets.
Important Note: If you buy Dragonflight Base or Heroic Edition after the expansion is released, you will not receive Drakks. The Drakks reward only applies to pre-order purchases.
Legion you get both pets if you buy the Heroic expansion of DragonFlight. You don't have to buy two expansions...just Heroic one for both.
Just want a clarrification. I read that you get one of the pets in the BASIC and the other pet in the HEROIC. Does that mean you can't get both unless you purchase both editions or are we to presume you get both in the HEROIC edition?
There is nothing in this game that was more sad to me than what they did to Ursoc. They killed him twice. To paraphrase an old saying, may the fleas of a 1000 camels infest the armpits of the devs who dreamed that up.
On the flip side, I once posted that it would be a neat idea to give us a "pet battle raid" where the reward would be something like a baby Ursoc or Ashamane. I guess I kind of got my wish.
