The Public Test Realm is up and running for the next content patch. There are currently 44 new battle pets coming in the Undermine patch, but keep in mind that this number may change as the PTR progresses.
Patch 11.1 - Overview of 44 new battle pets
Coming in 11.1 are some new pet models, and a few are appropriately mechanical-themed (and are therefore Goblin-approved). Pictured above from left to right are new mechanical gorilla, devilsaur, and goblin sapper pet models.
Other new pet models include some colorful critters (pictured below), such as hermit crabs with bombs for shells, cave crabs, mice, and stylish baby hyenas.
Many of the new battle pets will come in multiple colors, so this is just an example of the types of battle pets you'll encounter in 11.1. Which pet are you looking forward to collecting the most?
Mixed feelings because on one hand, yay more pets I can collect! On the other hand, sigh, more pets I have to collect lol. But it's a good problem to have. I imagine most of these will be mechanical, and the mechanical family definitely could use more variety.
