I'm not sure I understand why they nerf it completely into the ground. Why not just make it like a regular battle with level 23 pets in the world? Is it all that big an advantage to get to do it over just going outside your garrison and battling in the world?
Same with the menagerie daily. I get the nerf so you don't get people power leveling 10 pets in a day (although, really, who cares?), but don't decimate it: make it like a regular world fight. /shrug
