Well, it took a good while (longer than it should have since I didn't do the Uuna stuff in Legion), but I have my Baa'l.  I thought about just hitting it with an Ultimate stone, but I think that since it took so much effort, I'm going to level it the old fashioned way.

It is a great Tier 1 pet.  There's a reason that Thunderbolt is getting a nerf, it's an excellent damage dealer. Breath, Thunderbolt, Decoy and you're messing up someones day, be they NPC or Player. Factor in the mechanical racial and it's (relatively) high speed, and you have an excellent utility pet for most any situation.

If they're going to remove Howl Bomb as a strategy then they need to remove the 50% damage reduction from the Beast of Fable and Celestial Tournament legendaries, not to mention the Fel Corruption ability in Tanaan. 

I'm kind of disappointed about this announcement, but I can understand. I had returned to doing the menagerie daily on all 13 of my 100s to build up my charm collection in anticipation of the stones.  My big question is, are they going to increase the number of pets allowed in your journal?  I'm sitting at 988/1000 already and Legion should add quite a bit to that number.  I'd hate to have to release pets (ie different skins, breeds) just to be able to catch the new ones.
